Sangita Lamichane
My name is Sangita Lamichhane. I am 23 years old. I come from Gorkha, Nepal. I enrolled in Ashna Child Rehabilitation at the age of 8 years as my father has passed away, and my mother has been missing. After the enrollment, my life took a positive turn when I found support and hope at the Ashna Orphanage.
At Ashna, I discovered a sense of belonging and love. The caregivers treated us like their own children, providing us with care and affection. We became like a close-knit family, guided by our mentor, Lila sir, who taught us important values. The Ashna home played a crucial role in my education.
I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business studies, and I am proud of my progress. I am forever grateful to the Ashna family for giving me a second chance at life. They provided me with a nurturing environment and the tools to overcome challenges. I am honored to be part of their mission to support orphaned children, and I want to give back to the home that has changed my life.
