Help Build a Transitional Home for Nepal’s Vulnerable Youth

Nepal is a country of breathtaking beauty, but for many children, life is a struggle. Thousands of young lives have been shattered by poverty, loss, and abandonment. In orphanages across the country, children find safety, food, and education—but their journey doesn’t end there. When they turn sixteen, Nepalese law forces them to leave the orphanage, even though they are still just kids in so many ways.

At sixteen, these young people are expected to face the world alone, with only a 10th-grade education and little life experience. They leave behind the only home they’ve known, without the skills or support needed to succeed. Some find themselves trapped in low-paying jobs, others marry young out of desperation, and many struggle with the loneliness and stigma of being orphans. Their dreams are often crushed under the weight of their circumstances.

This is where you can make a difference!

We are creating a Transitional Home to help these young adults build a future. The Ashna Transitional Home will offer them a safe space to continue their education, learn life skills, and gain the emotional support they need to thrive as independent adults. It will be a place where they are not just surviving, but learning how to live with dignity, hope, and confidence.

Why is this so important?

Many of these young people face overwhelming challenges when they leave the orphanage. They need more than just a place to stay—they need guidance, support, and the opportunity to continue their education. Without this, their futures remain uncertain, and many fall into cycles of poverty and hardship.

The Ashna Transitional Home will help them continue their studies, receive job training, and learn how to live independently. It will offer the emotional care and encouragement they need to heal from their past and build a better future.
