Rajkumar Neupane
My name is Raj Kumar Neupane, and I am 27 years old from Ratnanagar-3, Chitwan. My childhood was challenging as my father passed away early, leaving my mother to struggle financially. However, Ashna Orphanage turned my life around in a positive direction.
At the age of 6, I joined Ashna Child Rehabilitation Home, where I found a supportive community of 24 other children in similar circumstances. We became like a big family, cared for by two nurturing "mothers" who treated us as their own. Our mentor, Lila sir, taught us valuable life lessons that shaped our characters.
Ashna provided me with the resources and support to succeed in my education. I studied diligently and achieved an impressive 83% in my secondary exams. Many of my peers from Ashna have also found success in their lives, which fills me with pride.
Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in physics at Tribhuvan University while teaching part-time at the secondary level. Ashna instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility towards helping others.
I am forever grateful to the Ashna family for providing me with love and countless opportunities during my childhood. It is an honor to be part of their mission to support orphaned children, and I am committed to giving back to the home that has given me so much.
